Bras in France. Everything is just so perfect; the food the service, the timing, the ambiance, and the people who I dined with.

THROUGHOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY, HAVE YOU NOTICED A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KITCHENS THAT ARE RUN BY MEN VS. KITCHENS THAT ARE RUN BY WOMEN? IF SO, WHAT WAS THIS DIFFERENCE, AND HOW DID IT IMPACT THE OVERALL ENVIRONMENT WHILST PREPARING FOOD?

Funnily enough, I have never worked in a kitchen run by men.  I love the one that ran by a woman. It is a lot more about feeling, senses, and emotion in a good way. The kitchen run by gay is fun,  creative, and pretty.   I did not see that much difference between different gender.  If the chef who runs the kitchen is passionate, committed, and love what they do. The food is always great.  How they deal with other chefs or they’re under can be categorized by gender but by their character and personality.

IT IS REALLY SAD TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING GLOBALLY. YOUNG ASPIRING CHEFS ARE LOOKING TO THEIR HERO’S HOW TO TURN PAIN INTO CREATIVITY. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO TURN THIS DIFFICULT TIME INTO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE?

Start where you are, Use what you have, do what you can

WHAT IS ONE POSITIVE AND ONE NEGATIVE EFFECT COVID-19 HAS HAD ON YOUR LOVE FOR MAKING FOOD?

With Covid-19, I have more chance to cook for my family and my love ones.   

With Covid-19, It is very challenging to balance between cooking what I love and cooking what the market might like to eat.

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN SPENDING YOUR TIME RECENTLY, HAVE YOU HAD TIME TO CREATE NEW RECIPES?

Oh yes. A lot and a lot of recipes and ideas await to be implemented.
